2006-01-21 - 10:19 a.m. there was a woman who worked at a community center in a pretty rough neighborhood. when times got hard, she started bringing her lunch to work with her. one day, a man who usually sat on the steps outside the center, asked her for some money. she gave it to him. the next day, she brought a little extra in her lunch box for the man on the steps. she developed a nice relationship with the man as she sat with him at her lunch hour and shared her food with him. they talked and laughed often during their lunch "dates" and the woman began grocery shopping to make the meals he liked most. eventually, the woman was given a class in the evening. on her way out of the center, she asked the man on the steps if he wouldn't mind watching her car for her on the days that she works late. it was a rough area and she couldn't see her car from her office window after dark. the man got up, looked her straight in the eye and said "you act like i don't have things to do in the evenings. so, i'm supposed to sit here all night just to watch your car? that's just selfish." and he walked away. the moral of this story is: some people don't have any morals. be peace until... two fingers j
