the only thing i do know
is that everything will change.
i am reading again.
this time for pleasure.
no teachers over my shoulder with deadlines
and tests
just reading to find out
what else is out there
i got the red dirt revival by tim'm west (poetry)
conversations with god (vol 1)
the prophet by khalil gibran
and a self publishing guide.
most of these, i've read before
but there's something different in them this time.
i think i'm different this time,
so, it's inevitable that i look at the books differently.
i really like tim'm.
hope to see him again soon.
i'm enjoying the love i have
the love i've found
and the love i've created.
things are good.
my new momma gave me an annie lee journal.
had me writing in it on the way home.
been thinking real hard on the act of overcoming
surviving
maintaining through adversity.
i have gotten through soo many hard times.
i deserve this time to rest
and be still
and read
cause one thing that is for certain,
is everything will change.
