what is the point of talking to a man
with no ears
even if i'm yelling
he won't hear
even if i'm pleading
he won't know
even if i'm crying
he won't know why
all he has is his own understanding
of what he thinks he sees
what he thinks he knows
what he understands
and all my talking, yelling, pleading and crying will not change that
my last ditch effort
is to take a sign language class
if that don't work...
