i wrote a song yesterday, it is for my sister who has been missing since i was about 9 or 10. i have been dealing with some issues that i have about her to prepare for my thesis project. i don't have a melody for it yet, but i'm going to give it to my sister josie to see what she can do with it, then give it to my girl to see what music she wants to put to it. i have been thinking about the concept of leaving a lot lately. thinking about the people who have been in my life that are no longer there. thinking about the reasons people leave, the reasons people stay... hell, why i left and why i stayed. i know i'm in a place now where i'm moving forward, but i am sooo happy where i am. is it possible to stay where you are and still be productive? people often leave cause they feel stagnated. when they feel like they are no longer growing together. that's why they say two cannot walk together unless they agree. the only way to keep a person in your life is if they are going on the same road with you or if they stay still and you keep circling back to them.
